“Glacier Garden” by Glacier Garden (Rock Artist from New York City, New York(NY))

RadioIndy is pleased to present Glacier Garden with a GrIndie Award for their CD "Glacier Garden"

The self-titled release by "Glacier Garden" is a refreshing collection of modern rock songs. Radio-friendly and radio-ready is perhaps the best term that describes this excellent CD. It is clear from listening to the CD, that this is a very talented band, both in terms of musicianship and songwriting. Many of the vocal performances on this album have a powerful sustain that fills the tracks with passion. "Beautiful" opens up with a beautiful acoustic intro and becomes engrained in one's memory due to its highly melodic sound. Taking on a heavier rock edge is the equivalently addictive "Where You Been," with its compelling guitar groove in the verses leading to a strong and melodic chorus. Other standout tracks include "Everything Forgives You," and "Rusty Bedframes." What's more, this CD is crafted with highly professional production. Fans of U2, Radiohead, and REM will enjoy this CD.

This coming Christmas a lot of much more parents of younger small children just starting pre-school or in their early years of elementary college will likely be drawn to the Leapster process because of Leapfrog's great track record for academic toys. Degradation when discharged below 2 Volts. Charge the battery one more time.
